Dismissal Policy:
Please contact the school office for any dismissal changes including pickups during the year. If the school has not received a call or note your child’s routine dismissal will ensue. If your child is being picked up please wait by the Kindergarten Playscape during dismissal.
Snack:
Please provide a healthy snack daily for your child. Snack will be in the afternoon as we have an early lunch. Breakfast and lunch are available for purchase daily.
Did you know F.E.S. Serves breakfast?
Breakfast orders are taken the day prior. Students must sign up for breakfast the day before in order to be served the following day.
Lunch Money:
You can add cash to your child’s account directly online by clicking this link. https://www.ezschoolpay.com/Login.aspx Or you can send cash or checks in your child’s communication folder.
Lunch money is collected in the morning and sent down in an envelope with the lunch count. The money is then transferred onto your child’s account. This allows for the great number of students in the cafe to have more time sitting and eating rather than standing in line waiting to be checked out. When you send in cash it is helpful to have put it in a labeled envelope with your child’s first and last name on it. Thanks!
PowerSchool Update:
Please log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal and click the "InfoSnap Year-Round Update" link (in the lower left) in order to update your current information (such as phone numbers). It is important that we have the latest information on file in case we need to contact you.
Birthday Invitations/Food:
Birthday invitations are allowed to be dispersed in school if there is an invitation for each student in our class OR all of the boys only are invited from class OR only all the girls from class are given an invite to a party. This school policy applies to all other classrooms as well. Otherwise invitations must be given outside of school. The class app Remind is a great way to contact other parents outside of school. (Sign up is free.) I will also be sending home a voluntary contact list during the first week of school. If you would like to be placed on the class contact list, return the sign permission slip with the contact information you would like shared with the other student's families from our class.
The school policy on birthday food sharing has changed due to the notable increase of food related allergies. Food is no longer accepted for birthday's in school and will be sent back home with you child. Please contact me if you wish to send something in with your child non-food related for their birthday in advance. Thank you!
Medications:
If your child requires medication in school please contact the school nurse. Parents/guardians must drop of medication to the office/nurse directly. Cough drops may be brought in with your child in a labeled bag and given to me for safe keeping.
Please note: I am not always able to check my email or Remind messages before dismissal so it is essential that you contact the main office with all changes. Thank you!
